Volunteer at club Olympic Events
We need help during the 2026 Olympic Season, as we see many interested peoples coming through the club to try curling.
Olympic years are our biggest opportunities to join the club, but we need help from club members! Telling us your interest and availability below DOES NOT hold you to a certain date and time, but lets us know what kind of events and times we can reach out to your help for.
Opportunities include instructing, greeting, attending watch parties, and more.
Tell us your interests and availability HERE.
Join a Committee!
Committees meet remotely via Microsoft Teams once a month or less.
- Membership Committee - help strategize and implement ways to draw interest in curling and LSCC and how to retain curlers. Email president@lonestarcurling.com to inquire or join.
- Events Committee - help brainstorm and plan events for the club, as well as public outreach events. Email president@lonestarcurling.com to inquire or join
- Merchandise Committee - help brainstorm, design, and create merch for the club to sell. Email merchandise@lonestarcurling.com to inquire or join.
Be a curling instructor!
Have you been curling for at least a year? Are you interested in earning club credit to go towards your curling (and more)? Join the ranks of our instructors!
We need club members to help teach new curlers during our public learn to curls (Saturday afternoons) and private events (various times throughout the week).
Your first 1-2 times we'll train you up with our method and make sure you're comfortable, then you're off to the races!
Interested? Email president@lonestarcurling.com
